About the artist:
Kathryn Brown Ciarrocca was born & raised in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Currently, she works predominantly in the medium of painting, but has produced pen and ink drawings and clay sculptures in her past.
Kathryn completed a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Visual Design degree from the School of Design at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1990.
She has exhibited work at the State of the Art / Art of the State exhibition at the Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Kathryn has also exhibited work at the Art in the Arboretum show at the New Hanover County Arboretum in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Kathryn's past commissioned work has consisted mostly of portraits and architectural renderings. Recently, she has enjoyed more modern art exploration.
Kathryn lives and works in Wilmington, North Carolina.
